EAP is an intensive English course that aims at developing competences crucial to actively participate in academic life. Our offer has been specifically designed for those whose first language is not English, willing to take up studies in English either in Poland, or abroad within full-time studies or as a part of an exchange program.
The course focuses on listening and note-taking, giving seminar presentations and honing students’ public-speaking as well as critical thinking-related skills. All course participants have an opportunity to extend their vocabulary substantially and revise necessary grammatical structures.
The completion of the course not only facilitates the smooth transition from EAP coursework to degree programs, but it is also a great opportunity for students coming from diverse ethnic, academic, and linguistic backgrounds to develop their own cultural identity, benefit from awareness of cultural differences and gain intercultural knowledge.
Classes are held from Monday to Thursday between 10am and 1pm, which leaves students a plenty of time to discover the beauty of Warsaw, e.g. attend famous historical places, visit art galleries or experience the hustle and bustle of the city.
